Predesigned routes

We’ve crafted four exclusive routes that pair the best destinations with top-notch training options to get you ready.

1–2 days · Up to 5 airports

THE BALEARICS — Island Hopping Training

This one or two-day training takes you south from Sabadell across the Mediterranean to Mallorca, then island-hopping through Menorca and Ibiza before swinging back via Valencia. Four islands, five airports, four different tower frequencies — and some of the most spectacular coastal approaches in European aviation.

Every leg teaches something different: sea crossings, island circuit procedures, controlled airspace in busy holiday traffic, and the satisfaction of a proper cross-country plan executed well. By the time you're back at Sabadell, you'll have racked up serious hours and seen something genuinely beautiful.

THE NORTH — Pyrenees & Basque Country

Leave Sabadell heading northeast and the landscape changes fast. Within an hour you're threading through the approaches of Pamplona, the Pyrenees filling the windscreen. From there the route follows the spine of northern Spain — San Sebastián, Santander, a quick hop across the border into Biarritz — before looping back through the mountains via Huesca.

This is some of the most varied flying in Spain: mountain airports with challenging terrain, coastal strips with Atlantic weather, and a French airspace crossing that adds a genuine international dimension. No two approaches are the same, and that's exactly the point.

MOROCCO — The Africa Experience

There are training flights, and then there is this.

Over three to seven days, depending on how far you want to go, you'll fly south from Sabadell to Granada, cross the Strait of Gibraltar into Africa, and work your way through Morocco — Tangier, Marrakech, and if the schedule allows, a long overwater leg out to the Canary Islands before looping back through Casablanca and Valencia to Sabadell.

It is, simply put, one of the most extraordinary cross-country routes available from Barcelona. Foreign handling, Moroccan airspace, Atlantic overwater navigation, North African airports, the Atlas mountains in the windscreen on approach to Marrakech. Every day brings a different country, a different ATC culture, a different set of challenges — and a view that most pilots never get.
